More Testimonies

Here are a few more testimonies. Undoubtedly, God is moving powerfully at Capstone Church and elsewhere in the nation. BE ENCOURAGED – BE EXPECTANT!
Pastor of Oasis Asian Congregation, London
God has been moving on the congregation for almost a year, giving people words, visions and spiritual gifts. But the congregation has been fearful that what they received was not from God. They were scared when people fell under the Spirit. Their “tongues” were little stuttering sounds, not proper words.
Between 20 and 25 of the congregation have now visited Capstone and this has changed the people, even the ones who have not visited Capstone, and the weekly meetings. Their tongues have all become full languages. They have many visions which they express boldly and openly. One 18 year old girl cried with joy when she received her first ever vision. Some have seen angels. At Capstone they saw people laughing, crying and falling in the Spirit and they now welcome this as normal Christianity. Wonderful changes indeed and we know this is only the start.
Paul Marriott

I spent a significant period of private prayer where I asked the Lord to lead me through effective repentance of anything that put self above Him. As a result of a discussion with a dear friend whose faith-walk is a yardstick of integrity, I asked the Lord to cleanse me of all hindrances and blockages in me that would prevent me hearing His voice or understanding His word; I asked Him to purify me in His refiner’s fire of all the dross and impurities (the burning bush was not a consuming fire but it represented ‘holy ground’) and finally to make me a holy vessel fit to be poured out for His purposes.

‘On the day I went to Capstone Church Ilford, which I had never heard of before, I’d added a statement in my prayer group, “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if one could find a church where man completely took his hand off the service and allowed God to run it?” – to which several in that group responded with a resounding “Amen”.

‘Since then my passion for Jesus has grown exponentially, I am totally in love with Him; I have unspeakable love for my wife and family; Amanda and Sarah have been incredibly supportive. I dance like David danced in every time of worship, my love of the lost knows no ends and I am now daily leading people to Jesus or making Him known to them on a journey they are wanting to undertake. Talking of journeys every train and bus trip and high street walk and shop visit is a befriending-for-Jesus-time and even my hospital appointment today resulted in Him being made known to the waiting room in an utterly friendly way and in my praying for various people there to be healed.

‘In 12 days since I first attended Capstone I have been healed of a very painful post-viral knee condition (I laid claim to Isaiah 53:5d – by His wounds (stripes) we are healed); I feel like 26 and not 62; lost 14lbs in weight (1.5 stone over 3 weeks) – largely from “worshipping with all my being” which has now attained a remarkable prophetic edge (who me this previously demure 62-year-old Englishman?) and also within a week have attained an admittedly medically-aided blood-pressure reduction from 173/117 on Mon 7th August to 136/72 which I was told today…is the blood pressure of a healthy 17-year-old! I’ll have that. 1 Corinthians 1:31 says “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord”. Indeed I do and I give all the glory for this transformation to God

Rhian During the London Awakening the presence of God has been visiting constantly and presented healing miracles on my body. Such instances have been as follows; Healing of constant pain of spinal and sciatic impingement, of nerve pain caused by canal stenosis and disc protrusion – result received on 12 September. No pain as of 13 September. Night of Jerame Nelson. —– Healing from blur in right eye after diagnosis of a cataract on 4 September. Night of Tomi & Tobi Arayomi visit. —— Healing of heavy pain in right toe while walking, which made me walk with a stick to church. Healing from a tight and excruciating painful left wrist, which resorted to me having to use a splint. Night of Miranda Nelson – August —– Healing from haemorrhaging every month, which sometimes stopped me from going out – no longer present and now all under control. Night of Jerame Nelson – July No more lower spinal pain, which stopped me going out and missing church on and off for 3 months. GOD IS AN AMAZING GOD! A GOD WHOM I WILL ALWAYS TRUST AND THANK, NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION. My life is beginning to change and i am now back at university studying again after a break, after a blessing of finance facilitation and management. Praise God!

Pastor Roy Farrell, Victory Outreach, Liverpool.

‘Today at “The Catalyst” Senior Pastor Roy Farrell was sharing about the vision of Victory Outreach & Liverpool. Envisioning God’s people about our inner city ministry, and our Victory Homes. When asked “What our needs were in VOCL?” Pastor Roy said “Property for more homes” and everyone at The Catalyst prayed for us.

As Pastor Roy walked into the lobby his phone rang, and he was told that someone wanted to give him a property with a 10 bedroom house. Praise the Lord!
Simon Braker, prophet in Leicester.
The Lord told me today to call my friend in Hull to tell him that the Holy Spirit is going to break out in his life. As I spoke to him, the Holy Spirit hit him and he is now pinned to the floor in his office.’
Light & Life Outreach, Glasgow
Two young girls (in their early twenties) wondered in from the streets because “there was an amazing atmosphere coming from the building!” When asked what they’d come in for, they said: “We’ve no idea, we were just walking past and felt we really needed to come in!” They went on to receive some prophetic ministry and left feeling ‘gobsmacked’ – and are keen to come back for more!

One young lad, previously from a New Age background, asked Jesus into his life at one of our first Glasgow Pit Stop events about three years ago. He came back on Friday and brought a friend with him. Within a few minutes, his friend had also asked Jesus into her life,

This is just to let you know that Capstone is still going strong and entering a new phase. The prophecy is from the seasoned prophet Simon Braker

“As we stood in worship the Lord took me into a vision. I saw a giant bowl in this room and it was full. The angel went to the Father and said, ‘Father it is full’, and the Father looked at him and said, ‘well then, get a bigger one ‘. I saw that bowl being tipped into another bowl, and what is here now was dwarfed, because the bowl was so big. What I hear the Lord say is He has been building it up to this moment, and it is no coincidence that Apostle Che Ahn is here tonight and Jerame (Nelson) is coming next week, because from this moment it shifts into an apostolic flow, that it is going to break into a new level in the nations.”

This report is from the head of the Four Square church in this country – Surekha Hulugalle, and covers last week. Surekha and his family have been to Capstone several times over the previous 5 weeks. I consider this really important, because it shows how the anointing that is on offer at Capstone is being transferred.

“I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh ……” (Joel 2:28)

The Foursquare Great Britain annual youth camp was held at the Britannia Hotel in Market Bosworth from Sunday 30th July to the 3rd of August, 2017. We had around 130 young people attending from the age of 12 and upwards.

The first night, traditionally a more “come together” and a setting of ground rules session,  was not so this year. A strong manifest presence of God came upon the youth, the leaders and even the speakers. It was different to what we had experienced before. God was setting the rules and the foundation for youth camp. Many of them prostrating themselves before God, wanting more and hungering after Him as they begun to experience Him. Young people who would never come forward, were running up and kneeling wanting more. No one was actually praying over them but God was doing it all.

This continued into every session. The next night, Craig Lawrence briefly spoke about “revival” mentioned in Michal Marcel’s book. He showed the book to the congregation and in his words, during the worship, “I could not stop crying as tears were pouring down”. This led to the youth crying out for revival and the power of God literally “hitting” them on to the floor. So many were now experiencing the touch of the Holy Spirit in a new level and wanting more, not to mention enjoying it. There was joy and an awe of His presence.

The third night saw “joy and freedom” break out. It was simply electrifying. Nothing could stop the youth from moving in what God was doing. There was exuberant joy, dancing and true freedom. The usually quiet kids, were not so. They “felt” God touching them and freeing them from oppressions and other bondages. Many were healed that night too. The sessions and topics we had planned were all messed up (in a good way). God had His plans and methods to break in.

That night a hotel guest was drawn to our meeting as he heard the music. He stood watching for a long while. Some of the leaders spoke with him and all he could say was “I want this, I want this…”. He later explained that he was very discouraged and his church had “shut out” the Holy Spirit. The church was dying, with nothing much happening and not very many people attending. He was in tears wanting God to break into His church. We prayed and prophesied over him, as the Lord gave some strong encouraging words. He then returned the next night after extending his stay simply to come for more !!! He was not disappointed. The Holy Spirit “bombarded” him to overflowing. In his own words, he said “I felt as though I had not eaten for over 6 months, but God gave me a banquet today. I have been here for a few hours but it feels like only 10 minutes”.

At each stage we would wonder, what next, since the bar was being raised. God knows more than what we could fathom. The final session was again God turning up and pouring out His Spirit. I would say everyone had some sort of an encounter. Many were drunk and could not stand up. Others baptised in the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues for the first time. One of the key factors we saw was that the youth were now praying and imparting His power over one another. Usually the final session is a “thank you, but we are now tired now”. Yet this time it was “we want more and do not want to go from this place”. As someone jokingly said “this my be known as the Market Bosworth fire and awakening”.

We have been receiving testimonies of change and transformation, from kids and even parents. As one parent asked “what has happened to our son?”. Craig who has run over 1000 youth camps in Southern Califonia said that he had never seen or experienced what we did.

Eltham :
The next day Chrishani and I had to minister at a Church anniversary service. Out heartfelt desire was “Lord, let the Pastors and Leaders in attendance receive a fresh out pouring”. One of the kids who had a strong prophetic word but also a “spiritual coronation” came to lead the worship. Well, God broke out !!! The Pastors from a culture where “hierarchy” is important, were “bewildered” by such a strong manifest presence touching them. My message was “Ask for rain in the time of the latter rain” (Zechariah 10:1).

Living Waters Foursquare (Kenton):
Our church services over the past month or so have been experiencing an outpouring. We did experience something since last October but it seems to have become intense since attending the Capstone meetings in Illford. People are hungering for more, being baptised in the Spirit and even being drunk in the Spirit. They cannot deny the manifest presence. So often the worship team gets “hit”. Last Sunday (6.8.17) at our combined language service the youth who attended the conference were praying over the adults. People who were trying to “catch” others from falling could not stand for the strong presence at the front of the church. We want more and for more to go out and touch a nation. That is our prayer.

Here is a testimony from a lady who had a tangible experience for the very first time.
Testimony: I was going up to help those ministering and suddenly I felt dizzy and my legs started to give way. I tried to move forward but I was getting pushed back. There was so much annointing there at the front. I was tipsy in the Spirit! My husband had to pull me into the front. Into because it was like stepping into a bubble. The power at the front, the altar, was awesome. It was literally like being drunk in the Spirit!

I consider this to be the most important email/post I have ever written.

I can hardly believe that the first stage of what I have been praying for for 20 years has finally arrived. I am so thankful to God for lighting a fire at Capstone Church, Ilford.

Here are two prophetic words within an hour – one by James Goll in San Diego and one by Emma Stark at Friday’s meeting.

What is happening there is a sacred move of God. In His wisdom He has lit the fire in an out of the way place in East London; in a small church made up mainly of people of Indian ethnicity.

I guess this might offend some people, as one might have expected God to move first in a nice church full of Anglo Saxons. However, God is wiser than we are! Rakesh and Preethy Kurian have experienced revival in India and they came to this nation for one reason and one reason only (two if you count God telling them) – Revival!

The Kurians are a wonderful couple, who are prepared to give everything they have (and they have done so in the past) for revival. They realise that there is a large cost for hosting a move of God – money (the one in San Diego costs £750,000 a year); exhaustion and a potentially a lot of criticism and opposition, but they have said ‘yes’ to God. I had been to this church many times before this move started 5 weeks ago. It was and is a church full of love. The people to a man (or woman), were and are hungry and passionate for God. I have not seen that amount of love and passion anywhere before. In addition the worship always brings in the presence of God. Capstone might be difficult to get to, but I understand exactly why God has chosen this church to reside in.

God has done His bit, but wether or not it develops into what this nation desperately needs – an awakening – is up to us. It is up to us to visit and receive what is on offer and then return home to start another fire. It is up to us to go out into the streets to release His glory and bring people to Christ. It is up to us to help pray for this move of God.

So why is it that relatively few people have visited Capstone in the last 5 weeks to drink the new wine?

– ‘busyness’ is the main reason I have heard. May I suggest that this is a season to cancel things to enable us to get to these meetings. We have been waiting 20+ years for something like this; are we going to be so busy that we have no time for the new wine of God,

– ‘too difficult to get to’ comes a close second. As I mentioned above, it is God who chose this out of the way place. Some people have come from Glasgow, Sheffield, Macclesfield and Leeds and one person travels 600 miles per week to get to the meetings.

– some people are watching online. This is absolutely great; I understand 3,000 + are watching each night from all around the world. Definitely, one receives that way, but there is nothing like going to the well.

– some are happy doing what they do for God and do not need any more. Might I suggest that many people are doing good things for God, but not the best. I believe that this is a new season and it is a time for many to leave the old wine skin behind and taking up the new. May I suggest it is a time for laying our ministries on the altar and saying to God, do you still want me to carry on with this or have you something new for me.

The only way we are going to get our nation out of this awful place is to bring people to the Lord. This move of God is about Presence, Presence, Presence. If we carry His presence wherever we go; few will be able to resist Him. We have the opportunity to go to these meetings to be filled up so we can then take it to the streets and release it. Please, please do not let this outpouring pass you by. It may be gone in a day, a week, a year; we do not know.

During the 1994 outpouring plane loads of people went over to Toronto to receive and then release it in the UK. However, the people of Toronto hardly went to the meetings. Please don’t let that happen here in London or in the UK. God is offering us something; I urge you to receive it and then change our nation.

A man who worked in a local hospital approached a patient who was about 50 years old and who was dying of prostate cancer. He told the patient that God loved him but the man would not receive it. He said that The doctors might think he was dying but God thought something different. When I asked if he was a Christian the patient said when he was young but since then he has messed up. The hospital worker said “don’t worry, today is your day, today you have found favour with God.” He closes the curtains around the bed and laid hands on the man, praying with all his heart. At the end of the prayer at the hospital worker said “Amen”, which was repeated by the patient. The patient said that he felt something moving in his groin and his stomach. The hospital worker open the curtains only to find nurses and staff on the other side. He was a bit worried about the consequences but the patient shouted “Alleluia!” and the staff and nurses couldn’t but say “Amen” in response.

He felt a different atmosphere in the ward and felt an anointing come on him. He saw another patient who looked very sad, so he told her about God and said that God would visit her and give her laughter. A little while after that he was asked to take that woman to another ward, and as he was transferring her she began to cry, saying that she felt so much joy and nobody has spoken to her like that before. When they arrived at the new ward she was sparkling. The hospital worker then told the six ladies in the ward that they had found favour with God and he released healing over them all.

He said that everything was changing in the hospital and all he could see was God and people suffering.

A woman who works as a Social Worker in Social Services, said that they were so inundated with calls they were unable to cope; it was a work place where you get into trouble if you speak about God. She was leaving work on Thursday when she told a colleague that the following day she was going to pray around the office, because things couldn’t continue the way they were with people being stressed, unable to cope and feeling overwhelmed. The following day all the social workers arrived late and the colleague she had been speaking to the night before said to her that she was going to pray but she hadn’t. It’s so happened that the manager was standing nearby and overheard what was said and she said to the Social Worker, “Pray, do it now, pray!” So she prayed for one part of the office, but then the manager told her to pray for the whole office, which she did. When she had finished, the manager said she should do this often.

A young woman from Wellington was making a salad with lots of fancy designs and was using a special cutter, but she cut the top of her finger off and she could see the top inside the blades. Her dad bandaged the finger and she went to the doctors the next day to ensure that there was no infection, and the finger looked the same as it had the previous evening. During the day she just prayed and prayed, not particularly praying for healing, but just concentrating on Jesus. In the late afternoon she went to change her bandage, but was completely shocked to find that her finger was back to normal with the original curve at the end of her finger.

The two young Americans who are ministring for three weeks in Wellington, Shropshire, went to visit Ludlow last week. While there, one was speaking to an old man who had a hip replacement and to have to wear a hearing aid. He prayed for this gentleman and and he took his hearing aid out and put it in this pocket as he went on his way. Whilst this was happening, the other American was praying for a man who had a sword go through his hand while he was juggling or something, and since then he has not had full movement in his hand and suffers from numbness. After prayer he was able to use his hand fully and the numbness has gone.

After this the young Americans went to visit Ludlow Castle and whilst there one of them looked over the parapet and saw four of five young people down where the moat was and he called out God loves you and the response from one of them was he loves you too. There followed a conversation where the young American told them about Jesus and they asked questions. During the conversation it became apparent that a young woman had a problem with her shoulder, so the young American prayed from a great distance down to her for healing. The next day the young American heard from them via Facebook and heard that the young woman’s shoulder had been healed and one of the young men, who had been suffering from insomnia, said that he felt peaceful and he’d had a really good night’s sleep.

During the service on Saturday night at House of Prayer, Wellington, two people came of the streets and accepted Jesus. There was a strong presence of God at the weekend services and I believe the well is being dug deeper.

God is moving in Reading

Something is stirring in Reading – UK.

An evangelist and his team came to minister from the US, training people to go out on the streets to speak to people about Jesus. After some worship and 20 minutes training, teams are sent out and people are very open to hearing about Jesus. Around 600 had made decisions for Christ in the first 12 days. Here is what the pastor of Reading Community Church says about it:

Personal Statement from Yinka Oyekan Senior Minister of The Gate.( 9/6/16)
There is an Evangelistic outpouring happening now on the streets of Reading.
Context is everything!
Around 15 years ago the Lord gave me a lucid prophetic dream about revival. I saw a river flowing like a waterfall onto the street from the roof the church building we occupied at the time, above this cascading river was the cross.
I saw children running into the river with joy and ease as they came down a slight decline into the cascading river making their steps easier. I saw the adults eventually catching up with what was happening but their steps were a bit harder as they had to climb a slight incline. As long as the Cross was magnified the outpouring continued but where anyone went above the cross it stopped.
Then in 2010 following a visible and tangible manifestation of the Glory of God in our family home, a manifestation which happened to disrupt dinner (we saw it as a cloud and felt it as sparks of lightening), the Lord in a vision gave me a clear word about Fathers love coming down and sweeping towns and cities in the Uk into a new outpouring, but only if believers in cities would gather together and call out upon him. The leadership of three cities initially responded (Liverpool, Plymouth and Ely) but the gatherings did not go beyond the leaders.
Recently, I should have guessed something was afoot and that something strange was about to happen because in the weeks leading up to what I can only describe as the manifestation of that lucid dream I began to see angels everywhere. I have not been one for seeing angels, but recently they began to appear particularly in our current church building where this outpouring has begun from, but they also were appearing in my home and one of them spoke to me audibly. It was all really quite strange. But now I realise that Father was flooding the area with His troops and that was the point of their appearing. I was not so easily impressed by angels because I have on more than one occasion spoken to the Lord himself in a dreams.
Last week we invited evangelist Tommie Zito to lead our mission endeavour. All I was hoping for was a cultural shift in our church which whilst evangelical in belief was not so much in practice. I thought that at best ten people might be added to church out of possibly 50 conversions given we were starting from further back than I would have hoped.
I did not realise what was coming. We are finding that hundreds of people are happy to pray to give their lives to Christ on the streets of Reading, five Muslims have so far accepted Christ as well as Hindus. At last count yesterday over 720 people had prayed in the streets after just 10 days of mission.
I was trained by Evangelist Don Double and so thought I had effective follow up procedures in place, we have been so overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of conversions that all our current systems are bust and we will have to think again. True to the dream, the children are leading the way one young 11 year old has lead 46 people to Christ on the streets, my fourteen year old has lead 11 people to Christ and my nine year old has lead thirteen of his friends at school to Christ, on the school run, on the way to work at petrol stations all over the town on buses people are praying and accepting Christ as saviour, those who have come down and sat under the anointing are reporting back to me that once they got back home they are leading people to Christ. One pastor went back to his town and lead 6 people to Christ the minute he got back home having spent time with us in the renewal.
It is not like anything I have ever seen or experienced before and it left me reeling, feeling baffled and confused. Teachers leading colleagues to Christ during their break, it is every day, it is nonstop and it was initially baffling.
We will end up using many church buildings as a launch pad for this outpouring. The church of England Verger who has let us use part of his grounds as a launching pad into the town centre was inundated with stories from the staff from John Lewis (A large department store) in the middle of town who were queuing up in front of him to tell him how blessed they were at being stopped and prayed for.
What is happening is not revival yet if revival means the whole of Reading is turning to Christ, but it is an exponential explosion of what you would normally see in what I would call a normal mission. Everything is the same but hundreds of times multiplied, so there are more genuine salvations but also more people who have responded just to move teams on and also more people who whilst not sure what they did none the less are searching and want God and meant the prayers. 80+% are estimated to be prayers of Salvation or Rededications it is all so overwhelming.
I am one of a Leadership Team of five for Reading Christian Network, a charismatic umbrella body for many of the ministries and churches in the town and today when we met I offered to hand over what has started at The Gate to the town. In that meeting we heard many stories of peoples encounters with what is happening. If the Pastors in our town will pursue and will pay the cost of pursuing it both spiritually and practically then it could lead to full blown revival. Eph 4 Evangelist Tommie Zito and I believe Reading could become the first city in Europe to be swept by the Glory of God. At this point I must be honest about what I prophetically believe, I thought the Revival the Lord showed me was coming was to start in the South West and I have tried very hard in previous years to ensure the leaders there knew this. The Gate will practically steward this outpouring whilst submitting to the spiritual oversight of the town to cover and give leadership to it.
Now for the really good news.
It is transferable to any city or town that wants this. I believe that this can happen in any city in this country or in Europe and because of that Tommie Zito’s ministry and Barnabas Fellowship of Churches are going to partner to facilitate this. Why do I believe it is transferable? Oh the joy of the simplicity of all of this. It is not a technique, it is not a program, it is not a church growth plan but something Holy from the Lord, it is simply the empowering of ordinary believers to be able to share the gospel on the streets and that is where the power to transform our cities lies. If we will humble ourselves, not try and control it and allow the Holy Spirit to flow we will see incredible things on the streets of every city in this nation.
I drew this picture attached to express my initial bewilderment at what I felt after the first day, indeed on the second day I was really worried and came under the most severe psychological attack, worse than anything I had experienced in the last four years which had been tough years of contending with spiritual forces. Why the psychological difficulties? Well I value my integrity but had no credible frame of reference to explain what I was seeing by the second day. On top of that I realised my follow up techniques which I prided myself with being good at were not going to be good enough. We have since begun to understand how to steward this move of God.
It was only after I accepted that Father was at work did the Lord send a pastor from Andy Au’s church from Brighton to encourage us. He came at the prompting of Jonathan Conrathe and when he arrived in Reading the Lord told a lady he had met three years ago to call him and tell him that revival was about to start and that the Lord had told her He was in Reading at that precise moment in time. This encouraged the meeting and gave us resolve to press in.
Why Reading?
We have been praying every week for 19 years for God to move in our town. This Wednesday was the day 19 years ago that the prayer meeting started. The leadership of RCN are more united and honest with each other than we have ever been.
Why ‘The Gate?’
God knows that whilst I am not the most prolific church planting Apostle, nevertheless I would never be content with holding this outpouring to just our church and my leadership team are just the same. Men and women who are a Kingdom minded team. A pastor receiving this gift may have been tempted to hang onto it as just another means of church growth which I believe many have seen Tommie and his ministry as in the past. Yes I wish to plant churches, yes I would love a huge church but, I would honestly prefer that every church become strong and growing whether they are part of my Baptist denomination, Barnabas Fellowship of churches, Anglican churches, Catholic churches Methodist churches or any other denomination or stream. I just long to see all churches growing and thriving. I believe God knows my heart and has trusted me knowing I would honour his servant Tommie and would seek to pursue what he had sent me and pay the cost. This is why I have a personal resolve to facilitate Tommie Zito and what he brings to our nation.
